Blizzard just released an online collection to bring people up to speed with the events that have taken place in Azeroth since Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. It's a very nice flash based application that tells you the story of the game and there's even a gallery of concept art in high quality for each game.

Why are they releasing this? They may have wanted to release this because of the ridiculous amount of World of Warcraft expansions that have depreciated the entire story line, Blizzard wanted to release this after fans became confused about their new Kung Fu Panda MMO. Or maybe Blizzard is in the hopes of unveiling Warcraft IV which has already been confirmed by Blizzard, only time will tell.
