Learning Binary & Hexadecimal

I've been doing discreet math all day today since I got a test tomorrow morning. I made a chart that helps you learn how to count from 1 to 48 in binary and hexadecimal. Hexadecimal is the easiest to learn, binary makes you get lost easily because of all the digits.

Posted a new video today on YouTube today about Mists of Pandaria

As mentioned in the video above I do have two Starcraft II map projects coming soon: Ice Troll Tribes, and The Invasion of Auir. They're both going to be high quality and contain original game play aspects and content. I'm not going to make another Turret Def, or Footman Frenzy. They'll be fun and unique maps that I will ensure to make them stand out from the rest of the map developing communities maps. And I may start to make video blogs much more regularly, hope you like the update!

Turn Your iPhone Into A Portable Game Console / Emulator

iControlPad2 Gaming Controls For Your Smartphone

Sorry for not posting for awhile, school and my bum landlord have kept me occupied. I've been following the developers who brought you the open Pandora with their latest project: iControlPad2. Why would you need a gaming pad on your iPhone? Because the iPhone is the ultimate portable platform capable of emulating high end machines such as the N64.

Uses Bluetooth to tether to your iPhone since Apple charges a royalty fee for using their USB socket

The product itself is a great idea allowing you to continue using your iPhone or smartphone for all your portability needs. And with smartphones becoming twice as fast every two years, its pointless to buy a portable handheld console.

The video is from craigix, I used to follow this channel when I looked forward to his Open Pandora updates. I also found this video in his favorites... It's really quite relaxing :)

iPhone 5 Review

Is It A Big Change?

Not really, the differences are fairly minor experience wise. The iPad revolutionized the computing industry because it was a new way to manipulate media. It offered a larger screen, many mocked and laughed at this idea because it made it seem like "A giant iPhone". But in reality, using a larger screen and Apple's multi-touch technology, the world realized that it was not just a bigger iPhone, but a new experience entirely. Other companies like motorola, and HTC immediately jumped on the tablet bandwagon.
The most notable hardware features are the new A6 chip that packs 1.2 GHz clock speed with two cores. The display is also wider which makes the phone bigger, but the phone is lighter and thinner than the 4 and 4S. I saw this phone first hand at work (I work at Target Mobile).

You can notice the difference in speed when using it firsthand

Overall, its a great phone. It isn't the next big thing, but it's always nice to utilize the latest hardware. In time the value of this phone may be even greater once we see developers make great apps.

Blizzard Makes "History of Warcraft" Page

Blood thirsty orcs vs pious humans, those were the days

Blizzard just released an online collection to bring people up to speed with the events that have taken place in Azeroth since Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. It's a very nice flash based application that tells you the story of the game and there's even a gallery of concept art in high quality for each game.

Oh look, they forgot Warcraft Adventures!
Why are they releasing this? They may have wanted to release this because of the ridiculous amount of World of Warcraft expansions that have depreciated the entire story line, Blizzard wanted to release this after fans became confused about their new Kung Fu Panda MMO. Or maybe Blizzard is in the hopes of unveiling Warcraft IV which has already been confirmed by Blizzard, only time will tell.

One Of The Greatest Electronic Dance Music Album Series

The Annual by:
The Ministry of Sound

The Annual is an amazing compilation of house, trance and big beat tracks that are played at night clubs in London. Every year they release a new album with the latest tracks, their latest album was the Annual 2012:

You can buy the albums from their official website. They only accept UK pounds £ so you have to make sure your credit card can support the foreign currency.

The Annual 2013 Release Date

The Annual 2013 will be out in November 2012. The Ministry of sound usually released these albums during the month of November. It's gonna be awesome, The Ministry of Sound has yet to disappoint me.

The Annual 2012s Top 5 Tracks

I've probably listened to The Annual 2012 songs the most over the course of the last summer, they had some very good tracks. These are my top 5 favorite songs from The Annual 2012:

#5 Boy by Adrian Lux

The YouTube video is slightly different than the one actually on the album, start the video at 1:00.

#4 Cinema by Benny Benassi

#3 Promises by Nero

I've seen this song used in a beats audio commercial recently.

#2 Turbulence ft: Lil Jon

And the number 1 song is, drum roll please....

#1 Stay Awake by Example

I like to listen to this song when I run or lift, it's very uplifting but surreal at the same time. Here's the link, enjoy!

Programming With Java And Data Structures

My Data Structures Class

I've been pretty busy lately with the labs I need to finish that are assigned to me every week. Each lab is more and more difficult than the last but the stuff you learn is cool as shit. I'm working on this method that adds an element that is of a parameterized type.
A parameterized type basically consists of a class or interface identifier followed, in angle brackets by a list of one or more class identifiers.

Parameterized Type:

            ArrayList <Double> gpaList = new ArrayList <Double>();
(Class or Interface)  (Class Identifiers)     (Holds collection of GPAs)

A parameterized type can also be called a generic type, they apparently improve your productivity as a programmer. For the lab I'm working on I'm given an interface MiniCollection and another interface that derives from it (MiniList) and I have to create a class called ArrayCollection that implements both of these interfaces. The parameterized type is something I'm going to have to utilize a lot in this lab for the ArrayCollection methods.

Hello and Welcome, Stay Awhile and Listen!

Why Am I Starting This Blog?

So I figured that I'd get into the whole blogging thing because hey, I already own a popular channel on YouTube, if I can make content that people like there, then why not start making content on blogger. Maybe it'll be even bigger than my YouTube channel, who knows.
I want this blog to deal with pretty much anything that relates to digital entertainment. I'll always make some posts about Blizzard Entertainment, maybe talk about Apple for a little bit, and I'll also talk about programming and developing a little bit. We'll see how you guys like my content and I'll just evolve my main topics from there. Anyway, here's a little about me:
I'm a student at La Salle University studying computer science, my school is located in North Philly which is pretty much the hood(I heard a semi-auto assault rifle go off down the street from the house I'm living at just a few days ago). I am the first American in my family, both my parents and my older brother were born in Poland and moved to the United States just before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989. Creating content for others to see and use is something I've always loved to do, my first hand experience doing it professionally was my YouTube channel that I started in 2007 called CiniCraft.

CiniCraft, the YouTube channel

Growing up, I was a Nintendo lover. The Nintendo 64 was pretty much my very first video game console. On the side from my N64 was my Dell Desktop computer powered by an Intel Pentium II processor that had a whopping 800MHz of clockspeed and 128MB of RAM which I used for Starcraft, Diablo, and some Warcraft II (the demo version :( I never got battle.net edition until 2004). So growing up to the year 2003, I was a PC and console gamer. But after the next generation of consoles came out with the PS2 and Gamecube, my interest in consoles had gradually begun to diminish. I did end up getting the generation of consoles after that, I bought an Xbox 360 in 2007 but the piece of shit broke three years later which is fucking embarrassing because my Nintendo 64 still runs like a clock (seriously, how did you fuck that up Microsoft? The heat sink on my 360 would become extremely hot after 10 minutes of being powered on, even with the guts of the console open and a giant fan blowing on the heat sink. The heat sink was hot enough to cook pork chops, I couldn't touch it with my fingers. I'm letting the world know Microsoft that you really fucked that up badly and it seems like you hired a band of monkeys to engineer the first Xbox 360s. And yes readers, I DID try replacing the thermal compound on the CPU and GPU, it didn't work -_-)
So with my disappointment with console games I primarily stuck with just the PC, mostly Blizzard games.

I would get back into Diablo II every once in a while, I would get back into Warcraft III and play online or do some of the campaign, Warcraft II on battle.net was surprisingly very fun and addicting despite the fact that the game itself was made in 1995, and of course there was always so much to do with Broodwar(the masterpiece of a campaign, BGH, use map settings, and much more). I believe that I started the YouTube channel and dedicated it to Blizzard because of the fact that their games have always been a part of my life and they have only influenced people who would always end up being my best friends. So when my channel began, I first started posting very rare and very old Blizzard videos that had been left behind as demos on old versions of vanilla Starcraft, Diablo, and I've found some very good ones on copies of Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. You can check out these rare videos here on my playlist.

So my YouTube channel has been around for six years, and hey maybe I'll have a special event for it on its 10 year anniversary (wouldn't that be fun). It's been quite a journey and I've never imagined how lucky I was to have the know-how to create online video content that would reach out and influence the entire world. It is a very good feeling to this day to see what I have done long ago and how it has affected my perspective on my life and how the Internet has become the steam engine of the 21st century. So anyway readers, I hope you all come back to my blog for more!
